All in the family
Shane recently took advantage of the Craftsman Truck Series early season downtime to help kid brother, Ryan. Seems Shane was the crew chief for Ryan's third place finish at Lanier Speedway in Braselton, GA recently. Looks like Shane might not be the only Sieg we'll be hearing from.

Shane finished 20th at the Martinsville 250 on April 17th. Here is Shane's own words regarding the race:
" We started 28th and moved up very quickly to the top 15 but unfortunately, we got caught in the pits and went a lap down.  We eventually made our lap up late in the race, but it was too late to drive back through the field and we
finished 20th overall.  I was happy and disappointed at the same time knowing that we had a very competitive truck. We're looking forward to the next race at Mansfield."

Shane Sieg has decided to part ways with Rick Ware Racing Enterprises. Shane was grateful for the experience of driving the #51 Dodge in the NASCAR Busch Series and leaves open the possibility of returning to the Rick Ware team at some point in the future. Shane felt it was time to focus on his Craftsman truck races and to explore other racing possibilities. Meanwhile, look for Shane's next Craftsman Series Truck race for the #07 Green Light Racing Chevy at Martinsville, VA on April 17th.
